As part of the Y.C.M.’s sports policy, and initiated in 2013 in the Melges 20 class under the impetus of Valentin Zavadnikov, then in the J/70 class, the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series offers a winter training and racing program for one-design sailboats, held monthly between December and March.
Seduced by this format, over 350 sailors from all over Europe set up their winter training base in the Principality, to prepare for the major events of the coming season.

Attracted by this format, over 350 sailors from all over Europe choose to establish their winter training base in the Principality, to prepare for the major events of the coming season.
The Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series is open to crews of one-design yachts, mainly J/70s, which have become the mainstay of this event since their introduction. Participants can also include other classes such as the Smeralda 888, M32 and Longtze Premier.
